The journey toward positive change can be difficult, and the vulnerability that comes with it may feel confusing, uncomfortable and painful. However, it can also be eye-opening, offering unique and unexpected opportunities for growth and a deeper understanding of ourselves.

 

Throughout this collaborative process, I bring warmth, compassion, non-judgement and a safe space for you to explore and bring change at a pace that is comfortable for you. I primarily draw from Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

 

I approach therapy from an anti-oppression and client-centered perspective. This means I honour the goals, viewpoints, and pace you bring to the therapeutic process; I strive to understand you and your experiences within the context of your relationships; and I aim to recognize and address the roles that power, privilege and discrimination play in our lives.
